လုပ္ငန္းခြင္သံုး အဂၤလိပ္စကားလံုးမ်ား (၅)

လုပ္ငန္းခြင္သံုး အဂၤလိပ္စကားလံုးမ်ားအေနနဲ႔ ဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာေတာ့ ကုမၸဏီလုပ္ငန္းနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္တဲ့ စကားလံုး အသံုးအႏႈန္းမ်ားကို ဆက္လက္ေရးသားလိုက္ပါတယ္။

• rise (v) - ျမင့္တက္သည္၊

raise သည္ ကံမလို ႀကိယာ (intransitive verb) ျဖစ္သလို Tense ေျပာင္းတဲ့ အခါ irregular verb ျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။ rise, rose, risen ဒါ့အျပင္ something rises; prices rise; inflation rises;
rise from $80 to $90 = rise by $10 စတဲ့ ပံုစံမ်ားနဲ႔ အသံုးျပဳႏုိင္ပါတယ္ … ။

- Inflation is rising at the moment.
ေငြေၾကးေဖာင္းပြမႈက အခုခ်ိန္မွာ ျမင့္တက္လာတယ္။

- Inflation rose by half a per cent last month.
ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ လက ရာခိုင္ႏႈန္းတစ္ဝက္ေလာက္ ေငြေၾကးေဖာင္းပြမႈႏႈန္း ျမင့္တက္ခဲ့တယ္။

- Oil prices have risen again.
ဆီေစ်းက ထပ္ၿပီး တက္ျပန္ၿပီ။

• raise (v) - ျမႇင့္သည္၊ တိုးျမႇင့္သည္။

raise ကို တိုးတက္သည္၊ တုိးျမႇင့္သည္ ဟုလည္း သံုးႏိုင္ၿပီး raise something; raise prices; raise tax; raise standards စသည့္ ပံုစံမ်ားျဖင့္ တြဲသံုးႏိုင္သည္။

- The company has raised employees’ salaries by 5%.
ကုမၸဏီက ဝန္ထမ္းမ်ားရဲ႕ လစာကို ၅% တိုးျမႇင့္ေပးခဲ့တယ္။

- The Government raised taxes last year.
ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ ႏွစ္မွာ အစိုးရက အခြန္အခမ်ားကို တိုးျမႇင့္ခဲ့တယ္။

rise နဲ႔ raise အသံုးကို ေဖာ္ျပပါ ဝါက် (၂) ေၾကာင္းတြင္ ယွဥ္တြဲ ၾကည့္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္ … ။

The company is raising the price.
ကုမၸဏီက ေစ်းႏႈန္းကို တုိးျမႇင့္ေနတယ္။

The price is rising.
ေစ်းႏႈန္းက ျမင့္တက္ေနတယ္။

• lower (v) - ေလ်ာ့က်သည္။ ေလွ်ာ့ခ်သည္
lower ကို adjective အေနေနျဖင့္ သံုးေသာ္လည္း ယခု ႀကိယာ (verb) အေနျဖင့္္ သံုးေသာ္ ပံုစံကို ေဖာ္ျပလိုက္ပါတယ္။ decrease, reduce စသည့္ ႀကိယာမ်ားျဖင့္ အသံုးပံုစံတူၿပီး lower something; lower tax; lower interest rates ပံုစံမ်ားျဖင့္ သံုးပါတယ္။

- The National Bank has lowered interest rates by 1%.
အမ်ိဳးသားဘဏ္က အတိုးႏႈန္း ကို ၁ % ေလွ်ာ့ခ်ခဲ့တယ္။

- They have lowered the rate of income tax for married couples.
အိမ္ေထာင္ျပဳၿပီး အတြဲေတြ အတြက္ ဝင္ေငြခြန္ႏႈန္းထား ကို သူတို႔ ေလွ်ာ့ခ်ေပးခဲ့တယ္။

• fall (v) - က်ဆင္းသည္
fall သည္ ကံမလို ႀကိယာ (intransitive verb) ျဖစ္သလို Tense ေျပာင္းတဲ့ အခါ irregular verb ျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။ fall, fell, fallen ဒါ့အျပင္ something falls; inflation falls; sales fall; turnover falls; demand falls; fall from $90 to $80 = fall by $10 စတဲ့ ပံုစံမ်ားနဲ႔ အသံုးျပဳႏုိင္ပါတယ္ … ။

- Our annual turnover has fallen from $15m to $14m.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ရဲ႕ ႏွစ္ပတ္လည္ ေရာက္ရေငြစုစုေပါင္းက ၁၅ မီလ်ံေဒၚလာ ကေန ၁၄ မီလ်ံေဒၚလာကို က်ဆင္းသြားတယ္။

- Unfortunately, demand for our products fell last year.
ကံမေကာင္းစြာနဲ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တုိ႔ ကုန္ပစၥည္းေတြရဲ႕ ဝယ္လိုအားက ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ႏွစ္မွာ က်ဆင္းခဲ့တယ္။

• grow (v) - တိုးတက္သည္
grow သည္လည္း ကံမလို ႀကိယာ (intransitive verb) ျဖစ္ၿပီး something grows; demand grows, interest in something grows; profits grow; grow by 20% စတဲ့ ပံုစံမ်ား နဲ႔ တြဲသံုးႏုိင္ပါတယ္။

- Last year profits grew by 8%.
ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ႏွစ္က အျမတ္က ၈% တိုးခဲ့တယ္။

- Interest in e-books has grown a lot in the last few years.
ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ ႏွစ္အနည္းငယ္အတြင္းမွာ အီးဘြက္(ခ္)မ်ားကို စိတ္ဝင္စားမႈ အင္မတန္ ျမင့္တက္လာခဲ့တယ္။
