လုပ္ငန္းခြင္သံုး အဂၤလိပ္စကားလံုးမ်ား (၁)

ပညာပေဒသာ ဂ်ာနယ္ မွာ ေလ့လာနည္း၊ စကားလံုး အသံုးအႏႈန္း၊ စကားစု၊ စကားေျပာပံုစံ စသည္ျဖင့္ အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာစကား နဲ႔ ပတ္သက္တာေတြကို ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ား ေရးခဲ့ပါၿပီ … ။ ဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာေတာ့ လုပ္ငန္းခြင္ မွာ အသံုးျပဳတဲ့ စကားလံုး အသံုးအႏႈန္းမ်ားကို စတင္ေရးသားလိုက္ပါတယ္။

·         Pay (n) - လစာေငြ၊ ပုံမွန္လုပ္ခ

လစာ နဲ႔ အလုပ္အေျခအေနက ဘယ္လိုလဲ

မင္း ဒီကုမၸဏီမွာ လစာ ဘယ္ေလာက္ရလဲ

·         Back pay (n) - ေၾကြးက်န္၊ ယခင္က ရရွိရန္က်န္ရွိေနေသာ လစာေငြ

-       I'm still owed 3 months back pay for the overtime I did before Christmas.

ခရစ္စမတ္ မတိုင္ခင္က အခ်ိန္ပို အလုပ္ဆင္းထားတဲ့အတြက္ ၃-လစာ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ကို ေပးဖို႔ရွိေသးတယ္။

-       The company cannot afford to give you the back pay it owes you.

မင္းကို ေပးစရာရွိတဲ့ အရင္ကလစာကို ေပးဖို႔ ကုမၸဏီက မတတ္ႏိုင္ဘူး။

·         pay cut (n) - လစာျဖတ္ျခင္း  

-       Manager is asking you all to accept a pay cut of 10% to keep the company going.

ကုမၸဏီ ေရွ႕ဆက္ဖို႔အတြက္ မင္းတို႔အားလံုး လစာရဲ႕ ၁၀% ျဖတ္တာကို လက္ခံဖို႔ မန္ေနဂ်ာက ေျပာေနတယ္။

-       He has the stark choice of accepting a pay cut or losing his job.

အလုပ္နားတာ ဒါမဟုတ္ လစာအကုန္ျဖတ္တာ တစ္ခုခုကိုေတာ့ သူေရြးခ်ယ္ရမယ္။

·         pay rise (n) - လစာတိုးျခင္း

-       We are looking for a pay rise in line with inflation.

ကုန္ေစ်းႏႈန္းတက္တာနဲ႔ အတူ လစာတိုးဖို႔ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ေနတယ္။

-       I'm going to ask my boss for a pay rise.

·         pay rate (n) - လုပ္ခႏႈန္းထား.

-       The pay rate is $12 an hour.

လုပ္ခႏႈန္းက တစ္နာရီကို ၁၂ ေဒၚလာပါ။

-       The industry cannot attract good quality workers because of the low pay rates.

လုပ္ခနည္းေတာ့ စက္မႈလုပ္ငန္းေတြက အရည္အခ်င္း ရွိတဲ့ လုပ္သားေတြကို မဆြဲေဆာင္ႏိုင္ဘူး။

·         Net pay (n) - အသားတင္လစာ (အခြန္အခ စသည္မ်ား ျဖတ္ေတာက္ၿပီး က်န္သည့္ အသားတင္လစာ)

-       The gross pay is $12 an hour but net pay is only $9.50 an hour.

စုစုေပါင္းလစာက တစ္နာရီကို ၁၂ ေဒၚလာပါ၊ ဒါေပမဲ့ အသားတင္လစာ ကေတာ့ ၉.၅၀ ေဒၚလာပါ။

-       He said he is only earning $5 an hour but that is his net pay, not his gross.

သူေျပာတာကေတာ့ သူတစ္နာရီကို ၅ ေဒၚလာပဲရတယ္၊ ဒါေပမဲ့ အဲဒါက အသားတင္လစာပါ၊ လစာစုစုေပါင္း မဟုတ္ပါဘူူး။

·         Equal pay (n) - (ရာထူးတူေသာ) အမ်ိဳးသား/ အမ်ိဳးသမီး တန္းတူလစာ

-       The women workers are asking for equal pay with the men.

အမ်ိဳးသမီးလုပ္သားေတြက အမ်ိဳးသားလုပ္သားေတြနဲ႔ တန္းတူလစာ ရဖို႔ ေတာင္းဆိုၾကတယ္။

-       In this country, all company gives the women equal pay.

ဒီႏိုင္ငံမွာေတာ့ ကုမၸဏီအားလံုးက အမ်ိဳးသမီးေတြကို အမ်ိဳးသားေတြနဲ႔ တန္းတူလစာ ေပးတယ္။

·         pay scale (n) - လစာႏႈန္းထား

-       We have six grades on our pay scale. You will start on the bottom one.

ကၽြန္ေတာ့္တို႔မွာ လစာႏႈန္းထား ၆-ဆင့္ရွိပါတယ္၊ ခင္ဗ်ားက အေျခခံက စၿပီး ရလိမ့္မယ္။

-       We need to change our pay scale for all positions in our company.

ကၽြန္ေတာ့္တို႔ ကုမၸဏီမွာ ရာထူး အားလံုးအတြက္ လစာႏႈန္းထားေတြ ေျပာင္းလဲဖို႔ လိုအပ္တယ္။
